They went to Dohoon with the Geuseunsae's soul trapped in the broom. He welcomed them, and asked for more booze. Perhaps he was indeed a hopeless drunk.

"Hey! Do I look like a hopeless drunk to you? The booze is for the ghost, not me!"

Ah... despite his love for booze, he was still a skilled physiognomist. He poured booze on the broom, and the soul revealed its true form.

"...Seems you've lost your voice from nights of endless crying. Come, raise up your head for me."

Dohoon examined the Geuseunsae's face. She was actually the soul of a woman who had been taken to the Gold Pig Mine. The nobles from Donghae Province had been hunting water deer in the reed fields, and when the woman's son went out looking for his mother, the hunting dogs attacked him. She took her own life upon seeing her child's burnt and torn clothes...

Her story was interrupted by the Hyungam of Dalbeol, who came to punish them for using the Sky Altar without permission. He dragged Dolswe to Gowun Plateau, but the Traveler rescued him before he got hurt. They then headed to the Cheongsan Hamlet and found the dogs' owner, Young-goo. He claimed the physiognomist was a liar. But why would the skilled physiognomist go around spreading lies? ...What? It couldn't be! The Geuseunsae's son was actually alive?
