## Summary

Yes, I had heard rumors that
the Prince was seeking asylum.
So, Maudi Budar has gone to the Ancient Ruins to negotiate the Prince's 
asylum with the Valencian delegation?
Do not get me wrong, I understand why they wish to send 
Prince Bareeds somewhere safe. But it is completely unnecessary.
I do wish people would have a little more faith in me. 
I tire of the incessant whispering that I am trying to take the throne for myself.
But why do you think they whisper so?
I have no children, no heirs. I have neither a wife to bear me sons, nor even a lover.
My only desire is to rebuild Mediah.
What would I gain from forming a new kingdom as an aging man with no successor?
I deeply hope that you, at least, can trust me.
