The sound of celebration is roaring through the trees! I am at a ceremony welcoming the young Ferricas who will be joining the Ganelle. Every year, there is a race between the Ferricas across the land of Kamasylvia.

They run through Navarn Steppe to Flondor Lake, then past the Ash Forest and over the Western Valtarra Mountains to reach the finish line!

There's no winner or loser, but the Ferrica who arrives first is appointed as captain of the Ferrica and Ferrina Army.

Saint Anbelif told me that the fastest Ferrid in recorded history arrived within "1 hour and 22 minutes"! Wait, really? But it takes longer than that just to climb over the Valtarra Mountains!

"That particular Ferrica received help from a Griffon." Well no wonder! Someone with such an acquaintance deserves to be captain!
