A Humble Beginning

Ever since I was young, the only toy I was given to play with was a hammer. While all the other children played with wooden swords and dolls, I hammered iron as my family was poverty stricken.

My father was a blacksmith, but one day, he collapsed, and I had to hammer pieces of iron as big as myself in order to put bread on the table. I was burnt while smelting and cut by sharp pieces of metal.

I had to keep going for my family. I was clumsy, but I learned quickly. Surely I was the son of my father, the man I respected the most.

One day, I will become the best blacksmith in Mediah and make my father proud.
