Objective
A Keplan Villager says there's a guy (?) who excels at refining in the cave ravaged by the Petrifying Disease and tells you to go seek him out.

And yet, there's a man in town who boasts even greater talent than him.
However, for some reason, from the day he suddenly arrived in town,
he volunteered to work as the town work supervisor.
Yet it soon became obvious that his eye for discerning quality ore
and skills in refining were truly out of this world.
I feel for certain that he bears exceptional skills.
