Chapter 1: Reconciliation of a Father and Son

After settling the feud with Sangoon NPC Knowledge, Taesoo NPC Knowledge reunites with his father. They sit at Beombawi Valley, reminiscing about the past and the time they've lost.

Taesoo is deeply moved to see his father's selfless devotion for him, and Old Man Mansoo NPC Knowledge hopes to reconcile their relationship.

On the day Taesoo's mother was attacked by a tiger, Sangoon brought her to Mansoo, to ensure that she wouldn't turn into a Changui. But before he could speak, the sound of flute playing is heard from the Tiger Palace. It was Jang Iksoon NPC Knowledge, who had set out to catch Mansoo and the Tigerslayers who had reassembled after
breaking their pledge.

Mansoo accuses the Hyungam and Yeongam of releasing the Oduksini NPC Knowledge which had been sealed away by Sangoon. Jang Iksoon attacks in response, but he is no match for the traveler, who refuses to reveal the location of the stolen palace artifacts.

Dolswe NPC Knowledge then appears in frustration and hands over a jade orb to Yeonhwa.

"But, what's the point of gathering that energy for the orb? The relic was stolen! I put my faith in you, My Lady!"

As they argue, Jang Iksoon manages to escape. With no other options, Dolswe, Yeonhwa, and the traveler go seek help from Miss Myo NPC Knowledge in Byeot County.
