He became the first second-generation storage keeper in Heidel after succeeding his father's warehouse. He takes a lot of pride in his work and this naturally attracts the people's trust.

Though he doesn't covet money, he sometimes looks at Luciano both with envy and suspicion since Luciano's accumulation of a huge amount of wealth through buying houses during the war.
