**Maryan Pero**

Self-styled the "Connoisseur of Calpheon".

A member of the Pero family who says he has a lot of interest in cooking. Yet, he is not a cook, nor does not have a great sense of taste. In flagrant violation of these two fundamentals, he confidently calls himself the supreme connoisseur in all of Calpheon.

Maryan often goes around tasting food at banquets or at pubs and pays a premium for recipes when he likes the food. He has of a lot of recipes as a result.
