Originally a wandering adventurer, he began living in Tarif a few years ago. Since then Locke has worked as a weapons dealer in the day and served as a town guard at night.

People in town tend to assume he does all this for Tarif because he fell in love with Chief Ahon Kirus at first sight, and wants to impress her.
