**Soyeol**

A trade manager of Cheongsan Institute.
He grew up in a poor yangban household and has seen a more difficult life than most commoners. Soyeol believes his family's financial woes were due to his father's devotion to studying.
Since joining Cheongsan Institute, he has been in charge of the trade goods going from and coming to the institute under the pretext of studying the lives of the people.
