While his ship was going down he risked his own life to save a Shai who constantly follows him around. They ended up on the shore of Albresser Island. He seems concerned about the Shai he saved because she hasn't awakened yet, and it has been days. Ninehart tried everything he could and now he is using food in an attempt to entice her to wake up.
