Harionel

Harionel, the capable captain guarding the eastern gate, has a drinking problem. When he's sober, he's full of positive thoughts and is kind, but when he drinks, he becomes depressed and pessimistic. He calls his drunken stupors a chance to contemplate existence, which he fancies as a pastime of self-respecting men.

He is particularly fond of Sommelier Sarangerel's wine sold at the tavern on the hill where he buys the wine by the barrel. Because of this, Sarangerel no longer tells Harionel when his wine is available for sale.
