Javier Rodin, a merchant from Serendia, is in search of the next hit item that will prompt the rapid emptying of the pockets of his Serendian clientele, and he's quite keen on striking a deal based on his lifelong motto: "He who follows in the footsteps of others shall only know the dark of their shadows." Although he is on friendly terms with Tobias of the Drieghan merchant guild, who he first met at Eilton, a lurking rivalry between the two harbors an uneasy tension that is well-known among their associates.
