Once a hunter of perilous wild animals, he did not pursue dangerous prey for coin alone. Driven by a steadfast belief in safeguarding his fellow hunters, Leo Laurie continued his hunt to ensure their survival. Thus, he stands among the rare few who not only master the matchlock but also know how to face creatures far larger and wilder than themselves.

In days past, he wielded his matchlock to shield his comrades. Now, he raises it anew, to teach fledgling adventurers the art of surviving the wilds and its fearsome beasts.
