northwestern part of this island, the part that faces Tashu Island.

Of course, the downside is that you will be dependent on the ferry's schedule.
The thing is, I have only heard of the ferry, but yet to see it for myself.
But isn't it worth a try to wait and see?
Of course, you're free to try sailing to Port Ratt yourself if you're impatient, or you just want a challenge.
For a journey like that though, I would recommend a boat as least as sturdy as a Fishing Boat.
