Summary An increasingly high number of darkened Winter Tree Fossils
have been found around here these last few years. And that's a big problem...
Normally, Winter Tree Fossils are blue, like jade,
but they're turning dark because of terrible Winter Spirits!
Dreadwinter Tree Fossils were once a rarity, but lately we have seen more
and more of them appearing all across the Highlands!
Suffice to say, it's crucial that we get our work done quickly
and return to Wind Nol's Perch.

Summary Despite being born and raised here, I've never confronted a monster.
I've seen many villagers harmed by them, but still I've never tried to fight any.
Ever since my horns sprouted, the only thing
I've focused on is training my hawk.
I doubt I'd be able to leave so much as a scratch on a monster.
Grove Keepers are said to be able to swallow a person whole, right?
And even Leaf Keepers are said to be strong
enough to split a mighty horse in twain.
Brrr! Just the thought alone leaves me in goosebumps.
