...Vuhura...Kaheliak...
Vuhura...Kaheliak!
They were the first words he uttered, after tearing up
the sacred roots of our Mother to come up to this world.
He spoke a language we didn't understand and
he became blind as soon as he faced the sunlight of our world.
His body was rotten and mangled as if it cursed
and his blood, spilled from being hit by our arrows, was as black as tar.
He let out a terrifying laugh as he drew something with his own blood.
It almost looked like the Black Sun.
It was certain he was a demon that had to be destroyed at once,
but we decided to spare his life and expel him out of the woods.
We couldn't kill him because the Spirits, our oldest friends, were all against the idea.
There was a faint yet undeniable trace of the Spirit's energy in him.
Oh, Mother... How should we interpret your will?
After some time,
when the Dark Spirits struck the mountains, forests, and meadows,
Josya Odore, the Chief of the Vedir said,
"The scent of the Dark Spirit is just like the man's blood." We realized then,
that as the man climbed up to this world, the door to the Root Realm had opened.
