Quest Group: 256240 — 2 steps

Pick up the worn book.

(It appears to be the journal of an unknown alchemist.)

After finally arriving in Calpheon, I found the people divided,
slumdwellers and nobles, by a large wall.
The most pitiful were the poor, young orphans.
They seemed to be around my daughter's age,
but they spent long hours working in coal mines during the day,
and at night, they studied by the light of the moon.
I was inspired by their youthful passion, and sought to aid it in some way.
So I began to dream up how to craft an Inextinguishable Stone.
Though the alchemical process to create it had hundred to one odds,
I preserved and was proud of my success.
The stone's light may not have the strength to illuminate entire homes,
But hopefully it can still provide some minor improvement to their lives.
