I was living off the refuse of the marketplace, looking for enough morsels to survive another day. Despite loosing all hope, I still hoped that one day someone would come save my abandoned soul. And it wasn't long until one day, a man appeared in front of me just like that. ## Walkthrough ### Step 1 - **Dialogue**: Exchange damage at 35% Damage detected on final memory shard. ### Step 2 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #1: Stars in the Shadows - **Summary**: The memory I can recall is of a cold and rusty shade. And it wasn't long until one day, a man appeared in front of me just like that. ### Step 3 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #2: Eternal Day - **Summary**: The man introduced himself as Dehkia, and promised me an eternal day. To me, who had only ever lived- nay survived- on a day-to-day basis, he gave a mission.  Why did Master choose me? This pressure... rather than driving me to succeed, I find it suffocates me. ### Step 4 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #3: Affirmed by Vaha - **Summary**: Whenever the pressure overcame me, I would go to see Vaha. He was so busily devoting his time to researching the mission that he neglected his appearance, which was scruffy to say the least. For someone who wished to accomplish something so grand, he sure didn't look the part. How silly of him... to completely stop caring for himself like that. Seeing him somehow made me feel better about myself. ### Step 5 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #4: Leaving the Nest - **Summary**: Master told Orze and I to head to the rugged lands, but the land of the Dark Invaders' was nothing like this place. In order to advance our strongholds, it was necessary that we sufficiently examine and research various environments. I was afraid of being left alone in the outside world again but, I was also somewhat excited to be able to see living, breathing creatures again, and to be free of my mundane life. ### Step 6 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #5: Epicenter of the Coming Future - **Summary**: Two days before we were due to head to the outside world, Master came to see me. I could not hide my nerves and self-doubting, but Master reassured me with a warm smile and kind words of encouragement. You know what, Vaha? I'm actually glad that you, and not Syca, will be leaving with Orze. It should be a good opportunity for you to get to know her better. ### Step 7 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #6: Land of Life - **Summary**: Yolunakea was a land lush with greenery that resembled a paradise. The blessing that had touched this land made it seem as if countless living creatures inhabited here. While I was following the smell of soil, I came across creatures that were half my height. They were surprised by the sight of a stranger, and hid themselves behind a tree. But when they saw that I wasn't a threat, they slowly emerged and approached me. ### Step 8 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #7: Meeting the Oluns - **Summary**: The small creatures surrounded me, dancing and chanting words I couldn't understand the meaning of. When I listened carefully, it seemed that all their sentences ended in "Ol" and "Lun." So I decided to called them the "Olun." The Olun were wonderful creatures, dancing and sing all day long in the lush forest beneath the trees. ### Step 9 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #8: Lightstones Come to Life - **Summary**: Guided by the Olun, on the road to their homeland, I discovered a mysterious stone that seemed to emit a light of its own. This was probably a lightstone, like those Master had mentioned. As I placed the lightstone in my hand, I could feel a flood of energy rushing into my hands. The Olun grabbed me and muttered something, as if rebuking me. It was as if they were warning me of something dangerous... ### Step 10 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #9: Slumbering Golems Undergound - **Summary**: After living with the Olun for many years and learning their language,, I came to realize why it was so difficult to find terrestrial life in the luscious forest. It was because a giant creature, "Lekra," drew breath beneath the ground of Yolunakea. The picture they drew of Lekra resembled a giant rock-like figure. ### Step 11 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #10: Horrible Tragedy - **Summary**: Was it a lack of caution? Either way, a terrible accident occurred. There was a giant lightstone shining brightly in the water. I was so struck by it that I reached in quickly to retrieve it only to find myself... frozen solid as a rock. Then, many more lightstones rose to the surface of the water... and I locked eyes with a giant creature swimming in the water's depths. ### Step 12 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #11: Distant Consciousness - **Summary**: It was an alligator, with what appeared to be a crown of lightstones upon its head. With one violent swing of its tail, I was sent sprawling down the side of a cliff. I lost consciousness. For how long, I do not know, but when I did awake I was greeted by the sight of Orze tending to my injuries. I couldn't speak a single word due to the pain my back but she just gazed into my eyes and said, "The Dark Goddess told me everything." ### Step 13 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #12: Back to the Stronghold - **Summary**: I had a pretty clear image of everyone and how they looked before I left for the outside world. But perhaps it was the vast time apart that had caused the faces of the other Dehkimas' to change so. The sun shined brightly on Vaha, and the contour of his face seemed bolder than before. Nevertheless, he didn't appear attractive in any way. ### Step 14 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #13: Sun's Stronghold - **Summary**: Vaha's stronghold, at which I had arrived for help, was... Well, there is no other way to describe it other than "perfect." The threads were woven so elaborately and the weapons appeared so life-like.. My mouth dropped. What could he have possible seen in the outside world that had inspired him to design such a place? Vaha... I see him in a different light now. ### Step 15 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #14: Light in the Dark Abyss - **Summary**: Syca's stronghold could only be described as... disappointing. It was nothing more than a poor and disorganized imitation of Vaha's. But, Syca's face had become grim since returning from the outside world, and that bothered me. So, remembering the light in the stronghold of the sun, I gave Syca some lightstones. Poor Syca, what would he do without me? ### Step 16 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #15: Syca's Usefulness - **Summary**: Since giving the lightstone to Syca, he's been coming around a lot more. Oh, who knew it would be this simple to win someone over? Syca's eyes flickered every time they saw me. Yes, make him long for the day, deep in the abyss where light cannot reach. Just like a weapon that I made and control, you will become my hands and feet. ### Step 17 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #16: Sun-filled Day - **Summary**: "Can you help me?" I asked Vaha. But even before I finished speaking, Vaha began to help without a moment's hesitation. Then, he stayed up for 10 whole days and nights without even stopping to eat or sleep. He just continued making devices. He is working this hard. All for me... It made my heart race. ### Step 18 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #17: Under the Statue of the Dark Goddess - **Summary**: I had been tossing and turning with thoughts of Vaha, so went to see Orze. But, Orze didn't appear to be in a right frame of mind... The line of Dark Goddess statues made that quite evident.. Okay, it's perfectly fine to serve a god. But... why do you continue seeing Vaha when he treats you as he does? If it were me, I would do so much better. ### Step 19 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #18: An Opening - **Summary**: I couldn't think any straighter after stealing Orze's dagger. Was this my opportunity to tear apart Vaha and Orze's relationship...? If Vaha found out that Orze was worshiping a god... I'm sure he would be just devastated. Oh... there has to be another way. A way to let Vaha find out about the Dark Goddess.... ### Step 20 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #19: Truth Beneath Moonlight - **Summary**: I visited Orze's stronghold and told her she could tell me anything that was on her chest. She hesitated for a while then began to speak with a timid voice about the Dark Goddess. I listened to her talk day after day, passing no judgment whatsoever. Orze, this secret shall stay between you, me and the Dark Goddess. All truth will turn a blind eye beneath the cold moonlight. In doing this, neither Vaha, Syca... or even Orze will ever doubt me again. ### Step 21 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #20: Syca and the Gift - **Summary**: I visited Syca's biome today, instead of Orze's. And I told Syca, who looked elated by my surprise visit: "What should I do, Syca? I had a gift for you, but I left it behind in Orze's biome." Now, the weapon which is fully within my grasp, will move on its own. Haha! ### Step 22 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #21: Sun's Rules - **Summary**: The next day, Vaha made new rules. I couldn't stop laughing. Vaha, I know why you weren't in a good mood. Whatever. It was me who made Syca move. Hahaha! I am truly a genius! Do you still not understand, Vaha? Only I am fit to stand by a blinding sun like you. ### Step 23 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #22: Under the Full Moon - **Summary**: It was on a day when a full moon lit the night sky that I decided to let Vaha know how I felt. "My love, Vaha. With the Goddess of Darkness' permission, our paradise will be complete." It was the first time that I had seen Vaha's eyes, usually so stoic, flutter in confusion I gazed straight into those eyes and whispered. "You will never have Orze, she has already been embraced by the Goddess." ### Step 24 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #23: Day that Swallowed the Sun - **Summary**: "Thickets blot out the light. Thorns scar everything. Only damp darkness and death reside within them. And yet, I am different. I can embrace all the rays of the sun. Let us cultivate a new life together within the sun's embrace. Only I can support you, my sun. So, take my heart, Vaha." My gentle voice hardens Vaha's expression. Ah... For the first time... my idol... now appeared... as my prey. ### Step 25 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #24: The Ocean in the Palm of Her Hand - **Summary**: Syca came looking for me. I have no idea how he knew what happened last night, but his eyes were filled with rage. "Syca, don't get upset. You're much more than just a friend to me. You verified that I'm better than Orze in all aspects?!" Whenever I see him leave after stepping into my forest burdened with worries, then watch as he rushes back in with his crazed eyes, I feel... ecstasy rushing through my mind. Now, Vaha is completely mine as well. Haha! ### Step 27 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #26: Weapon Sent by Vaha - **Summary**: I need only see the weapons Vaha sent to know. Just like I had with Syca, I had won over Vaha's heart... I then paired Vaha's weapons with mine and made them do a joint training exercise, something that Orze, even with her Goddess of Darkness, could never achieve. ### Step 28 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #27: Statue that Resembles Her - **Summary**: I was first to compete on the first day of the Final Battle and Vahmalkea was empty like a ghost town. Right when I was about to take off, a giant weapon caught my sight. What I saw was "Lucretia" the name that the Goddess referred to Orze as. Vaha had been secretly creating Orze behind me. How long... had this been going on? I shall make you pay for my suffering. I will not compete. Vaha, may you realize how incompetent you are without me. ### Step 29 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #28: Reason for the Fall - **Summary**: That day, a shower of Dark Invaders fell from the sky. But the fall of Atoraxxion was not because of the Dark Invaders... Vaha erased the Master's memory and Syca was suspected to be the one who stole the Black Stones. Syca most definitely blamed Orze. Then Vaha was quick to try to protect Orze. It never mattered that Orze worshipped the Dark Goddess in the first place. ### Step 30 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #29: Cold Anger - **Summary**: "Well, it seems pretty clear that you Vaha, are trying to put us at fault for the troubles with the Dark Invaders." Syca and Vaha were stunned with my brutal honesty. And Vaha still stood by Orze's side. At last... this is how it ends. Ha... What was left of me? I felt a cold rage boil up inside me. ### Step 31 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #30: Destroyed Tomorrow - **Summary**: It was in that moment. Vaha who had been so righteous in his entire life swung the sword with extreme rage. It pierced through the very center of Talibre's Door as it made a loud noise and shattered into pieces. "If there is no way to defeat the Dark Invaders with you guys, I'd rather die with them." ### Step 32 - **Objective**: [Knowledge] Yolu's Records #31: Cause of Failure - **Summary**: Why? You predicted the Dark Invaders... Why couldn't you predict our future? It's all your fault. You entrusted me with a future that you couldn't even promise... All of this is your fault!
