[Storybook] Stone Statue

Black Spirit

Objective
Stone Statue I: Her Tears

A Traveler, puzzled by the heart-wrenching crying of a young woman
on the coast of Byeot County approached her to ask what is wrong.

"Traveler... C-Could you please help me find my beloved?
Mister Turt NPC Knowledge said that he is c-certainly still alive..."

The Traveler went to find Mister Turt. Mister Turt expressed remorse
as he explained that he didn't see her husband at the Dragon Palace,
and thus encouraged the woman to hold onto the hope that he still might be alive.

Heeding Mister Turt's words, the woman waited for her husband, day and night...
But even the fish and coral of Dragon Palace said they never saw him there.
Mister Turt suggested that the woman go and speak to the person who was recruiting
sailors at that time her husband went missing, saying he might know something.

The Traveler wasted no time in seeking out the person mentioned by Mister Turt.
While the villager initially seemed reluctant to speak, citing unpleasant memories,
they opened up after hearing the woman's sorrowful story.

The sailors were tasked to fetch a mysterious black rock from across the sea.
Unfortunately, a mishap occurred during the voyage, resulting in the disappearance of several crew members. Nevertheless, rumor had it that some sailors had been rescued. The villager suggested that the woman visit an island called Oakwilla to gather more information.
