Philance NPC Knowledge said he was infected by Black Energy before he could properly explore the cave and asked you to investigate the cave for him instead, if you have enough courage. Go deeper inside the cave and kill some adventurers, giants, and wizards possessed by a Black Spirit NPC Knowledge.

I've been an archaeologist my whole life.
Until I got infected by the Black Spirit NPC Knowledge here in this cave.
Now there's something else inside of me that isn't myself.
I just barely keep some balance thanks to Valentine's medicine.
If this is fate, I can take it.
But what on earth is inside there?
I presuppose, yet I've never seen the reality.
Could I entrust this problem to you?
I don't want to push you too hard,
but I just can't bottle up the curiosity I feel inside.
