Yaz says she was waiting for Edan and Orwen, but an Ahib appeared out of the blue and took Lafi to Salanar Pond. Let's go to Salanar NPC Knowledge the Verti Umbramancer.
Go to Salanar Pond and look for the Ahib that kidnapped Lafi;

It was an Ahib... the Ahib came out of nowhere
and she seemed very pleased to find Lafi!
She said this is her lucky day or something,
and took Lafi away by force.
She also called Lafi... The most wanted man!
I mean, how is Lafi the most wanted man in this land of O'dyllita?
How come that talkative shorty is popular? Since when?
Was she by herself? No... She came with two humans.
But there was a shackle on the female slave!
Oh boy... It was really scary. I had no idea this place was so scary!
Do you think Lafi knew about this place already?
Perhaps that's why he didn't want to come to O'dyllita back then?
Yaz! Calm down! Do you remember anything?
Anything they said, where they were going, just anything at all?
Oh yeah... So... The human's name was... Ka.. Kacina NPC Knowledge...?
And they said... They're taking him to Sal...Salanar NPC Knowledge!
