Objective
I found a contraption that protects the ruins. Disable the contraption and take the core that controlled it.
Interact with the Dark Portal and defeat the summoned Guard Tower;

Although it took some time... I am satisfied with the results.
The defense mechanism was implemented a long time ago to protect the ruins from outsiders.
We found evidence of this easily, but didn't know how to even activate it.
The clue was found in the data you've provided for us.
Head to the place I marked to learn more about the guard towers.
I don't need the other parts, I just need the core that controls the guard towers.
There is nothing to be afraid of
as the contraption was constructed a long time ago.
