Objective
The descendant of the Vell Pirates saw a suspicious carrier pigeon NPC Item inside Sherah Riki NPC Knowledge's tent and stole the letter on its leg.

She was so angry and irritated! She kept yelling that
we were being nosy and causing trouble on the island.
I got a feeling that she was hiding something.
I know so because I've lived in lies all my life.
Since we arrived here, I kept an eye on the carrier pigeons.
I noticed that the carrier pigeons from Sherah Riki NPC Knowledge's tent
were headed in a different direction.
They were the only ones flying to the pirate island
so I sneaked in and stole a letter.
