Strange Things from a Strange Boy

After I finished work and was on my way home, I spotted a boy wrapped up in a cloak sitting by the road. He seemed suspicious, but I approached the boy and asked what he was selling. He said he was selling accessories. When I asked him further, he admitted that they were all made by him. Since he turned out to be a fellow jeweler, I warmed up to him.

I decided to purchase his accessories, a belt and a ring each. Upon taking my money, he immediately packed up and sped off somewhere. It felt somewhat peculiar, but I didn't dwell on it as I continued home. I even forgot that I had bought them as a present for my wife, and didn't remember for some time.

Then I had a rather odd dream. I was in a house but it wasn't mine. It was a house that wasn't big, but was still a good size. My wife was there too. We were having a rather enjoyable conversation, and we had a child with us.

I woke up feeling happy and well-rested, which I hadn't in quite some time.
