Chapter 5: The Elder and the Bulgasal NPC Knowledge

In the heart of Holbon, the Traveler arrived with a singular purpose: to vanquish the Bulgasal. Yet, the one who awaited him was Minister of War Won Baek, who was also loyal to Lord Jang Jungu.

With surpassing skills, the Traveler swiftly subdued Won Baek. But just as victory seemed assured, an elder from the Centipede Market emerged from the shadows behind Won Baek.

"W-why's she givin' a howdy-do to the Centipede Market? Did she pick a fight with the Traveler just to distract us?"

"Yes. I empowered the spirit wandering the path to the netherworld. The power to protect this place until it consumes itself... Burn and perish along with the fallen kingdom."

The forces of the Centipede Market, wielding the power of the Dark Bonghwang NPC Knowledge, had provoked the Bulgasal's wrath, making it far more ferocious than before. In that dire moment, a child the Traveler had once saved at the forge in Seoul appeared, standing bravely between the Traveler and the rampaging Bulgsal.

This child had been stealing metal from the forge, not out of malice, but to feed the ever-growing Bulgasal. And now, with the courage born of gratitude, the child stood as a shield against the monstrous fury, buying precious moments for the Traveler to act.
