Chapter 1: The Land of the High Clouds
In a time long past, when tigers smoked pipes, the mighty Go Dahn embraced the moon and ascended Mount Ahshi to herald in the morning, while Jumong cradled the sun and journeyed to waters of Paesu, founding the great city of Holbon. Their grandeur reached the shores where the sun rises and extended to the harbors where it sets. This was the realm known as the "Land of the High Clouds."
Though the two nations shared a common tongue and script, their rituals and customs diverged. Jumong of Holbon, a master archer, could strike a fly perched on a watermill or hit a jade ring a hundred paces away. Under his rule, the nation flourished, yet no reign is eternal. As time passed, those hungry for power sowed chaos, plunging the lives of the people into despair.
Heroes would emerge to restore order, but even the deepest hues eventually fade. Inevitably, an irreversible turmoil descended upon the Land of the High Clouds.
On the joyous day when the youngest princess was born, the entire kingdom celebrated with feasts and revelry. Yet, amidst the merriment, a rebellion arose, scattering the clouds of peace.
