[Storybook] Tale of the Geuseunsae
Black Spirit
Objective
Chapter 5: Physiognomy
Seulyoon NPC Knowledge believed there must have been a reason Dohoon NPC Knowledge, the physiognomist, sent the Traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge to him.
So, Seulyoon paid a visit to Dohoon, with the ingredients for the marvelous
Dokkebi Wine, a recipe he had learned from Brewkkebi. Bowl after bowl, the two enjoyed several drinks together.
Then, Seulyoon presented the Traveler with a mysterious broom. It wasn't just any broom, but one given by Granny Death. A Dokkebi who had passed on to the netherworld had asked her to deliver it to Seulyoon. If they sweep the Geuseunsae NPC Knowledge with this broom, they could temporarily trap its soul.
Then Dohoon, the physiognomist whom even a ghost couldn't deceive, would read its face, and they could discover what unresolved grudge had bound it to this world.
But the Geuseunsae only appears on rainy days... and the sun was shining brightly that day. They couldn't just wait for the rain...
Left with no choice, they decided to secretly hold a rain ritual at the Sky Altar, together with the Dokkebi guided by the kebbifire Seulyoon had prepared. As the ritual proceeded at the Sky Altar, it began to rain, and the Geuseunsae appeared.
"Have you seen my child...?"
The Traveler barely managed to trap the Geuseunsae in the broom!
