Objective
Derek Nimms NPC Knowledge, whom you met at the King's Forest, said that he used to be a Deputy Master of the Goyen Mercenaries. Tell him of Theo Dango NPC Knowledge, and ask what happened to the Goyen Mercenaries.

Ah! Theo Dango NPC Knowledge! That name brings back memories.
I see...the Quartermasters did not know what was going on.
Most of our brotherhood,
including our leader,
were killed in the battlefield and the survivors
vowed to take revenge on Dandelion.
However, Dandelion fell soon after the battle
and we had no one to direct our fury.
It's going to be a long story...why don't we go somewhere where we can talk quietly?
Let's meet up at the Valley Lily Inn.
