The <d>Ashen Wing NPC Knowledge</d> kept denying the records, insisting that the righteous Enslar NPC Knowledge could never have changed. The traces we uncovered—she refused to believe they could hold such truths. Yet the records of Enslar, in cold, unflinching words, spoke of a grim reality that could no longer be denied.

"I'll cover humanity's eyes, so until the final day they can live every day just like yesterday... Preserving the present is the destiny I've been given."

Margarethe fled the archive. I fought my way through the encroaching enemies and chased after her. Surrounded by the corpses of Fallen Valkyries, Margarethe clung desperately to denial.

"The woman I knew lived her life in unwavering righteousness. The convictions she instilled in me... her sense of justice... They couldn't have been lies. No... If they were, then what have I been fighting for!"

I knew how hard it was for her to accept. But if she stayed on this path, she would only follow in Enslar's footsteps. Grasping her by the arm, I pleaded with her—and at last, clarity returned to her eyes.

"I... right. If I'm to set justice straight, I must stand against her, even if it means defying her..."

When she asked if I would go with her, I nodded.
