Chapter 9: The Revealed Mastermind

"What a match between our brave victors! But it all ends here! The time has come to crown the victor of the Martial God Tournament! Traveler!"

As soon as the announcement of the match winner was heard, the friend of the traveler appeared and poured water over Uturi.

"Arghhhhhhh!"

Finally, the person controlling Uturi was revealed. It was Jang Iksoon NPC Knowledge, who fought the traveler in yesterday's preliminaries.

"Jang Iksoon...?! We figured you were behind this whole mess, but you were actually possessing Uturi? What did you do to control him?! Wait... Could it be...?!
"So, it has come to this again, Iksoon. Your abilities can only go so far."

The Master of the Centipede Market appeared and took Jang Iksoon away.

Some time later, Uturi was recuperating at the Seoryeon Corps. Geonchang approached Uturi and started a conversation with him.

"They say that leaving home for the first time brings hardship. How do you feel now that you've experienced it firsthand?"
"M-Master...! I just wan-turi to... proudly be known as your successor...turi!"

Uturi sincerely repented, and Geonchang forgave him.

"I'll make sure to put you through extra training, to shape you into a true Seoryeon warrior."
