Chapter 9: The Unveiled Purpose

Despite the grim suggestion from Hong Gildong to take Bihyung NPC Knowledge's life for the sake of the people, the traveler decided otherwise. Instead, they sought the power of the Goddess Samsin NPC Knowledge to confront Bihyung. With a branch from the sacred tree, they ignited a fire to summon him.

"Looking for me, are you?"

Slowly, from the shadows, Sir Bihyung emerged. Dolswe NPC Knowledge rose and questioned him.

"Ah, you're here... Lemme cut right to the chase. Why on earth are you spreading this plague around? Huh?"

"Let's say, I was just curious. If I were to gain actual power, how would those who ignored me react? It was as I expected, heh heh. They all look up to me now."

"Ha. You're full of it. So then, explain to me why you met with Minister Kim Geumryun!"

At that moment, an elder from the Centipede Market appeared from the darkness.

"You're beyond control. Oh, the irony. A puppet with a will of its own. You're a failure. Time to eliminate you."

The elder seized something from Bihyung. Yet, Bihyung did not falter.

"This power is mine. No one can take it from me. "

Thus began the inevitable clash between the traveler and Sir Bihyung. But even with his newfound strength, Bihyung was no match for the traveler.
