First Battle, Giant Imp

I don't remember exactly what day it was now, but my lonely and fearful travels started on the day I found myself witnessing a truly peculiar sight in midst of a strange darkness. It was a cold and rainy winter day. Dark clouds scattering across the sky seemed to beckon me towards the nearest inn. I yearned for the warmth of a tavern fire.

The darkness from the heavens slammed against the earth, where a giant Imp appeared, bellowing in rage. Seeming to have lost any form of reason, it was destroying everything in its vicinity. I locked my eyes with the giant Imp's, which then started charging towards me. I barely dodged the first attack, and not knowing why or how, I battled with this unexpected foe.

The cretin leaped to extraordinary heights then landed belly-first on the ground, seeking to crush me with one attack. A risky move, since after dodging this I could see it was exposed for my attacks. The battle prolonged and we had both reached the limits of our stamina. I tried to keep my composure, but under the heavy downpour of the rain, I began hearing strange noises...
