Taphtar NPC Knowledge, an Shakatu NPC Knowledge merchant, is worried he hasn't seen Hamar for some time. Go to Iris Canyon to look for Hamar.

As you probably already know, the Gahaz Bandits are roaming near the canyon.
I am worried that they may have done something to Hamar.
If you cross Yalt Canyon and pass the Gahaz Bandits' Lair,
you'll find Bambu Valley.
If you travel a little further from there, you'll find Iris Canyon.
If he ran into any trouble, Hamar would've sought refuge there.
If you find Hamar, please tell him to contact me.
