The Kingdom of Mediah is currently ruled by the regent known as Neruda Shen NPC Knowledge.
The story of how this came to pass is a long one, and better told another day.
Just know this about Neruda Shen. He is as cunning as a viper, and even more deadly.
He seeks only power and will crush all those that stand in his way.
Mediah and the Shroud Knights were
greatly weakened during the Three Days of Darkness.
Shen used this as an opportunity to rise up the ranks
until he became the de facto ruler of Mediah.
The Shroud Knights are the only thing that stands between
Neruda Shen and his lust for absolute power.
I fear that if we make a move on the Abandoned Iron Mine,
there is no telling what Shen will do.
