[Storybook] Tale of the Gumiho

Objective
Chapter 2: Foxes and Humans

Those who spent a thousand days in Yeowoo Pass returned to the world, cured and healthy. A few of them decide to stay and help the fox sisters, and they become known as the Honglim.

Time passes, and love blossoms for the older sister, Mieun. His name is Gunho NPC Knowledge, and together they bear a child of half-Gumiho NPC Knowledge, half-Human blood.

Meanwhile, the younger sister Mihyun finds herself a best friend. His name is Sangyoon NPC Knowledge, a simple and naive herbalist of Dalbeol Village. He is slow but kind-hearted, which Mihyun finds endearing.

One day, however, the village is ravaged by smallpox. In order to save her friend, Mihyun lends Sangyoon her Fox Orb. With its power, he vanquishes the plague and is appointed chief of the village.

Not long after, fox hunters come down to the village. Bomnae County is ruined by their hands,
and Mieun is hunted down and killed. What became of her younger sister, Mihyun?
