Objective
Chapter 9: Love and Admiration
There's also a story where the traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge convinced the Gumiho NPC Knowledge to set aside her revenge. They looked for the Dalbeol Village chief, who used to be Mihyun's best friend, to find the Fox Orb and probe him about some unresolved questions.
Sangyoon NPC Knowledge wasn't around, however, so they spoke with his apprentice, Dukpal, instead. According to Dukpal, that day was a special day of the month. On that day, that the chief disappears with a handful of Blue Mist Flowers. Ah, and he said that the Blue Mist Flower is a symbol of everlasting love.
The traveler and Dolswe followed the coastline by Yeowoo Pass and stumbled upon Sangyoon. They found him crying, for some reason, in front of a grave with the Blue Mist Flowers in his hands. That grave turned out to be none other than Mihyun's!
Sangyoon's father had left him when he was young, only coming back upon hearing that Sangyoon had eradicated smallpox. He'd then gone on to bring ruin to Yeowoo Pass, and Sangyoon had been burdened by guilt ever since. He had believed that Mihyun died at the hands of the fox hunters.
Then, what was the Fox Orb that Mihyun saw him giving to his father? A fake. The real Fox Orb was buried in the grave that he dug for Mihyun. The traveler, Dolswe, and Sangyoon returned the Fox Orb to Mihyun to resolve these misunderstandings.
However, it seems that Mihyun had no intention of hearing Sangyoon out. And amid all this chaos, Sangyoon suddenly confessed his love for Mihyun! Mihyun called him a dumb bastard and poof...! returned to her Human form. She said it was only because she was caught off guard, but who knows? And will she really continue her revenge?
