Objective
Chapter 2: When the Dragon and Tiger Clash
Heeding Mihyun's words, the traveler headed to Shimhyangje where they met the physiognomist, Dohoon NPC Knowledge. If the entity that reigns over rain clouds was the culprit, Dohoon said that they could counteract the disease with an appropriate energy.
Following Dohoon's guidance, the traveler headed to the peak of Beombawi where they accidentally came across the Changui and also met Old Lady Birigongdeok NPC Knowledge. It turned out that the old lady was collecting the energy of Changui in a pot.
The traveler asked her what exactly brought the plague over from across the sea, and she said that the culprit was most likely Imoogi NPC Knowledge, Donghae's god of agriculture.
"Have you heard of the saying, 'When the Dragon and Tiger Clash?' These titans are deemed evenly matched in strength, their conflict an eternal contest. Imoogi, a serpent that trains under the waters for a thousand years to become a dragon, reigns over the rain clouds. If Imoogi is the culprit behind this plague, this medicine imbued with the energy of the tiger will nullify the disease."
The traveler returned to the village and handed out the medicine to the people.
According to the people, during the time when there was a drought and tiger attacks were at their peak, they had sought out Imoogi. But the downpour that arrived three days later was black. The black rain proved fatal, devastating crops, livestock, and even claiming the lives of people.
However, this black rain was not the first. About 50 years ago, there was a time when black rain fell with dark green fog.
