[Storybook] Tale of Imoogi
Black Spirit
Objective
Chapter 3: Imoogi NPC Knowledge Child
Within the barn was the wish-granting Imoogi Child.
The Imoogi Child serves as a guardian, taking on the guise of Imoogi during the ritual when Imoogi grants people's wishes. And if the ritual is completed safely, it grants the blessing of curing even fatal diseases to the child. But this time, Imoogi just sent the child away without giving her a blessing?
Mihyun said that Imoogi was acting usual and suggested going to Imoogi's nest. There, they encountered Seungsan NPC Knowledge.
"As the descendant of Habaek, root of this country and the god of water,
I cannot simply watch as the black rain becomes a black river, then a black sea."
Imoogi, as he reigns over the rain clouds, is regarded as the god of agriculture. He is a being that must undergo a thousand years of cultivation to attain dragonhood. However, Seungsan said that Imoogi of Donghae has long since given up on that calling and promised to stay among the people, bringing down rain for them when they wished it.
It's unbelievable that Imoogi, who made such a promise, decided to let death take the Imoogi Child...
During their conversation, the Imoogi Altar caught the traveler's eye. It was overflowing with a green fog. It seemed that the fog had spread from here all the way to the village. Mihyun suggested using the energy of the tiger to dispel the fog. Specifically, through defeating the apparition of Sangoon NPC Knowledge in the Black Shrine,
a shrine erected from peoples' desires gathered by the Oduksini NPC Knowledge.
