Objective
Chapter 1: Perplexing Plague
One morning, Lee Mongryong NPC Knowledge woke up to find a letter placed next to his bed.
"A mysterious and fatal plague is on the verge of spreading through Dalbeol. This plague is dark, damp, fickle, and depressing. The seeds of the epidemic have taken root in a small lot below Shimhyangje. A looming catastrophe awaits if we fail to intervene quickly enough."
The traveler who read the report hurriedly ran to the government office and saw the records that had come in. People in the area below Dalbeol Village have been vomiting black water, livestock have been bleeding black blood, and crops have been rotting with black roots...
The yibang NPC Knowledge claimed he had been trying his best to contain the plague. But what Mongryong and the traveler witnessed were the rotten crops, pigsties full of dead pigs, the well contaminated with black water, and villagers trapped in the barn.
To lock people up in a barn just because they were sick... The traveler scolded the yibang for imprisoning the people in the barn and spoke with Mihyun, who had been tailing them in the guise of a little girl.
Mihyun seemed to have suspicions about what may lie behind this plague. Apparently it may be the being that reigns over the rain clouds? But for now, curing the people should come first.
