Chapter 2: Purpose and Will

Illezra's goal is simple: <b>to return everything to its rightful place</b>. Everything she has done so far has been part of her design to achieve it. She asked me to end <b>her</b>, or rather, <b>Hadum</b>.

"If we cannot stop Hadum, there will be no future—for you, for me, for this world."

But what does Illezra truly want from me? Her words are ever cryptic, leaving me more uncertain than before.

"I thought we wanted the same thing. Ah, perhaps it's the darkness you've become one with that desires it? You know, I too am surrounded by countless Black Spirits. And all Black Spirits move as one will."

What does the Black Spirit NPC Knowledge truly desire? Is its purpose to banish Hadum as well? Was the <b>deal</b> it spoke of tied to Hadum all along? Illezra says she needs my help—the help of the <b>King of Edana</b>—to fulfill her purpose.
