Chapter 4: The Black Spirit NPC Knowledge

After Illezra finished speaking, she disappeared once more. The Black Spirit, meanwhile, looked... pleased. Up to now, it hasn't told me much—always speaking in riddles, as if it's hiding something. What is it really after?

"Hehe, I told you. It's all about the <b>pact</b>. The one we made the day we first met."

What really happened to me the day I first encountered the Black Spirit? All it's ever given me are cryptic tales and half-truths.

"You're already keeping your end of the deal. You and I need to become one... before we can finally bring our true enemy to their knees. Don't worry. It won't hurt you."

As I thought, the Black Spirit still doesn't seem willing to reveal everything. <b>Purest union</b>, <b>becoming one</b>... I still don't understand what any of it means. What does it truly mean to become one with the Black Spirit? Will my life change forever from here on out?

"I know you've got a lot of questions, but let's head back for now! Until the Witch calls us again. Hehe... Just remember, you and I are always <b>one</b>."
