Chapter 3: King of Edana

Who exactly is the King of Edana, and why did so many people covet the throne? Curious, I asked Illezra about it, and she shared a story from ages past. Back when the <b>Edanas</b> first appeared and each discovered their own unique powers, the world was thrown into chaos. Everyone sought something different, driven by their newfound strength.

"But then, in the midst of that chaos, <b>a king</b> arose. One who united them."

The King of Edana is said to be the one who achieved <b>the purest union with the Black Spirit NPC Knowledge</b>—someone who walks alongside it, never letting themselves be consumed. It reminded me of the rumors Jordine NPC Knowledge had mentioned: tales of breaking free from the Black Spirit's grip and being reborn.

"They were able to gather the will of the Black Spirits in each Edana. That strength was the one key capable of defying despair."

Apparently, the <b>Demonlords</b> I've faced in Edania were all granted Hadum's power. But according to Illezra, claiming the thrones doesn't mean I've inherited their <b>primordial</b> blessing. She said Edania will be my foundation to stand against Hadum, since it's the land of <b>Edana</b>—and soon, it will be mine.
