Objective
Chapter 3: Yibang NPC Knowledge's Ruse
Dalbeol Village had been suffering from a worker shortage, and it seemed that those who ventured into the Golden Pig Cave never returned to work. There was a time when everyone resorted to begging for coins. The Yibang wondered how people could afford to not work.
After getting yelled at due to the shortage of workers, the Yibang got a drink at the tavern. Then, he overheard a conversation between some people sitting on the wooden bench nearby. They spoke of the fabled Golden Pigs that hoarded infinite amounts of gold.
Intrigued, the Yibang searched high and low for the mines he had heard about, but his efforts were in vain. Frustrated, he came up with a plan to tie a string to a lady's clothing, then follow it, hoping it'd lead him to what he was looking for. Finally, the string led the Yibang to the secret entrance of the cave.
The next day, constables inspected each and every house in Dalbeol Village without warning. They took all the gold hidden under the bedding, in the jangdok, and even in the dog houses. To make matters worse, the lady whom the Yibang had followed with the string was also imprisoned, accused of trying to sell the people to the Golden Pigs.
