Chapter 7: Greed

Chulong NPC Knowledge wished that the Golden Pig King NPC Knowledge suffered no more, then shared the dream he had when he first heard about the Golden Pigs.

Legend had it that the Golden Pigs were susceptible to luminous energy such as that of the sun, perhaps because they were born amid the umbral energy of the mines.

Deer or mountain sheep NPC Knowledge hide could be used to make drums and janggu to first distract the pigs with loud noises, and then once they're covered with white horse hide, the umbral energy would vanish into thin air like it never existed.

The traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge visited the Chorong Merchant Guild, known for their secrecy in the Land of the Morning Light, before returning to the Golden Pig Cave. However, upon arrival, the traveler handed the white horse hide to Dolswe instead of the satto.

The traveler believed that the satto and Yibang NPC Knowledge would only exploit the Golden Pig King for gold to fulfill their greed.

Dolswe agreed and waited for the perfect moment. When the satto attempted to capture the Golden Pig King, Dolswe covered its back with the white horse hide he'd been hiding.

As a result, the Golden Pig King transformed into pure gold, and soon, people came running to claim their share. The greed of the satto remained where the Golden Pig King once stood, unfulfilled.
