In the first record, the tale unfolds of how the village of Tarif was founded. According to Orwen, even the scholars could not find such details elsewhere, suggesting these records truly belong to Cartian NPC Knowledge.

"Prepared to pay any price"... "Pride beyond reason"... What purpose did Cartian have in leaving these records here?

"Orwen, unfinished words often sow confusion... and mistrust. It's good to examine what's in front of us, but wouldn't it be wiser to keep searching for the next record?"

Though Gabriella's words were not meant for me, they roused me from my thoughts. Perhaps she was right—it was best to examine the next record.
