Chapter 7: An Unbelievable Story

Rumors are something that the person involved is always the last to know, but eventually, they reach the person's ears. And today was that day. Finally, Seonhwa made up her mind and asked the traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge for help.

"Yes. I... will run away with Seodong. Could you tell him that I wish to leave Bukpo and be with him?"

"Oh boy... We ain't gonna change your mind, are we? The fire of love sure is a wild thing, ain't it?"

The traveler and Dolswe found Seodong, who was moping alone by the seaside, and conveyed Seonhwa's decision. The timid Seodong also made up his mind. Thus, the traveler and Dolswe decided to help the two elope.

On the promised night, Seodong and Seonhwa finally met at the entrance heading to Seoul. They shared a joyful embrace and were about to head to Balanhosu.

"Stop right there."

Lee Duksoo NPC Knowledge appeared! Was it because of the difference in status between Seodong and Seonhwa? Lee Duksoo declared them criminals and said he would take them away. When Seodong protested, asking what he meant, Lee Duksoo brought a witness. To their shock, it was Seonhwa's mother, Lady Maya! Even though Seonhwa, who had already made up her mind, pleaded with Lady Maya, Lady Maya adamantly opposed.

"Mother, forgive me... I cannot live without Seodong..."
"No, I will not allow it!"
"Mother, you know me. We can make this wor..."
"No! You must not!"
"But mother..."
"I am telling you, no!"

Then, Lady Maya delivered the shocking truth.

"You're... siblings!"
