Black Spirit

Objective
Chapter 11: The Truth

Jigwi's flames were incredibly fierce. If left unchecked, they would surely burn the entire world, so the traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge, with tears in their eyes, decided to seal him. With Seungsan NPC Knowledge's help, they discovered a way to seal the Jigwi, crafted a straw doll resembling Seonhwa, and lured him into the sacrament house NPC Knowledge. They tried to cover Jigwi as if extinguishing embers with thick bedding. And they planned to use the sacred water of Mount Ahshi to annihilate the Jigwi.

The traveler continued a grueling battle with Jigwi. Finally, they succeeded in draining Jigwi's power. Then, Seonhwa, imbued with the force of Mount Ahshi's water, appeared. Seonhwa, wrapped in the force of water, embraced Seodong tightly. Thus, Jigwi and Seonhwa became one and vanished from this world.

The traveler and Dolswe went to inform Sogyeong of the news. They didn't say they had left this world, only that they had gone far away. Lady Maya, overwhelmed with sorrow, lost her sanity. And Sogyeong, with mixed feelings, revealed the truth.

Sogyeong knew that Seodong was not his biological child. In fact, he and Lady Maya were each other's first love in their youth, but unfortunately, the man Lady Maya first married was the one who ruined their love. Seeing Seodong grow more and more like that man, Sogyeong couldn't maintain his sanity. Eventually, Sogyeong entrusted Seodong to the Infirmary. He also revealed what Seodong had done in Bukpo. Seodong had refined swellfish Knowledge Item poison and delivered it somewhere.
