Chapter 13: Special Inspector of the Morning Light

The crown prince helped the still-flustered Dolswe NPC Knowledge to his feet.

"Rise, Chief Royal Secretary. You've endured much because of this unworthy Crown Prince."
"Oh, no, Your Highness. My only regret is that my own shortcomings prevented me from protecting His Majesty."
"Do not dwell on the troubles of the past. My father's illness lingered for so long. Who could have halted those treacherous ministers from seizing power?"
"Your Highness...!"

The crown prince also expressed his gratitude to the traveler.

"Traveler, words cannot fully convey my gratitude. Without your aid, I almost certainly would have perished alongside my father."
"W-What do you mean, Your Highness! The traveler and I will stay right here. We will continue to stand guard over you!"
"Thank you... Truly, thank you... But alas... the threat still lingers. Will you continue to lend me your strength... to safeguard this Land of the Morning Light?"

At the prince's request, Dolswe and Seungsan NPC Knowledge turned to look at the traveler. It was clear they expected an immediate response.

"Traveler!"
"Traveler!"

The traveler glanced at Yeonhwa's face, then turned to the crown prince and nodded. Pleased with the traveler's answer, the prince handed over a token.

"Take this badge. From this day forth, you are a special inspector of this land."
