Chapter 4: Mr. Byeon NPC Knowledge
The Yeongam was taken aback by the people supporting the Stripefolk Tigerslayers. He did not withdraw the order, however, and gave them three days to disband.
Taesoo NPC Knowledge had no intention of backing down, either.
He had already been investigating Mr. Byeon since the day the Yeongam had gathered his troops in Beombawi Valley. This was the day after the annual Grand Town Ceremony.
Tiger attacks began being reported ever since that day, and the only one who survived had been Mr. Byeon. The Stripfolk troops then decided to find Mr. Byeon and ask what happened at the ceremony.
The troops left, and the Traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge went off to the Honorable Choi House because there was something off about the jangdok they had broken there before. And what's a better way to get information out of someone than with a game of Yar? The Honorable Choi tried his best, but was soundly beaten by the traveler.
Meanwhile, Dolswe found an astonishing piece of information: a list of snake catchers who received exclusive rights from the Yeongam, who distributed the poached snakes to the Honorable Choi house. And all that money was being sent to the Hyungam of Dalbeol.
With this information, Captains Taesoo and Ahong NPC Knowledge interrogated Mr. Byeon, who reeked of rotten meat. He'd covered his scent to protect himself from tiger attacks. Then, he comes clean.
